Weiler Engineering, Inc. developed Isolation/Insertion technology for ASEP-TECH® Blow/Fill/Seal systems, using a barrier isolator outside the machine room for sterile operation. This method sustains Class 100 conditions, ensuring exceptional sterility for sensitive products.
Sterile inserts, such as tip and cap assemblies or rubber stoppers, are loaded into the isolator through a rapid transfer port. They are indexed into the machine and placed into molded containers before final closure, ensuring contamination-free operation.
The automated process ensures Class 100 conditions and maximum sterility for products that cannot be terminally sterilized.
